Memories
maryjeancobb@gmail.com My Mom December 31, 2015

My Mom was a woman who I enjoyed being around. We did so many advertures together. I loved her stories she would tell of her and her sisters. She was brought doing the depression and understood the many things of life. I learn a lot from her and remember the good times we ha. She was never afraid to be very advertious, so we would go down road we didn't know just too be out and about. We would go and get the coco cola with cherry and take a road trip just too see were we would go and new place. All the memories I have are so precious to me and the things we would do. Fishing was so much fun with her and see would laugh ever time I fell in trying to get her hook off a log or getting it unstuck. We had some great conversations about everything. All though you are not here with me your spirit is still here, I love you and really miss you
Dawn My Grandma November 27, 2014

With the passing of a dearly beloved one, we all too often look back on our lives and the time we spent with them. We question our behavior; did we spend enough time with them or could we have done more to show them our love? In the case of Magnolia Clack, our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, I sincerely hope that this amazing woman left this mortal world knowing how much she was and still is loved by everyone around her. We all have specific memories of our loved ones; the ones that make you laugh, cry or both. They can be so vivid as though you are living it in real time. The memories of my grandmother come to life when I tell my children of the many adventures we have had together. Our adventures would sometimes start by going to the store, maybe just to get ice cream, and before we knew it we were driving on roads we’ve never been just to see where it went. I was never afraid that something bad was going to happen. We were adventurous and living in the moment and that’s just one of the many things my Grandma taught me. She wasn’t afraid to live and take chances; and even though her dreams were large, she always kept her feet planted firmly on the ground. My grandma wasn’t afraid to love, this is evident by the many people that surrounded her throughout her life. She was a strong, independent woman during a time that demanded she be unassuming and compliant. From the outside, it may appear that she lived this modest, ordinary life but for the women in her life she showed us how to live outside the box and challenge the true meaning of our roles in this world. I may miss seeing your beautiful face today but I will always have your amazing spirit to guide me. I love you, Grandma.
